Advances

Day 1:

After 30 min we decided the name of the group, BenMar. After having the name, we made some prototypes of logos. In the afternoon, our designer made a final logo. We also created an account on social networks, Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.

Day 2:

We started to make / design the website, when we thought we had it done, they asked us for money to make our domain. Once the problem is solved, we have finished the initial sketch of the page.

Day 3:

One such Ignaci Jorro from Cronica Global / El Español, has sent us an email saying that he wants to write an article about the initiative. He gave us his phone. We decided to show the mail to the director and STEM teachers. Now we are waiting for your response.

Day 4:

Today parents come to observe what we have done, what we are doing and what we will do. We will explain what we did during the first months of STEM, but other groups will explain other things.

Day 5:

After the Christmas holidays, it was time to go back to work. Today, we have been doing the initial design of the box, first a sketch and then a basic design in a 3D program. We have also been doing the main application programming.

Day 6:

Today Andreu has introduced the subject of leds, plates, etc. We have been testing different connections, and we have started using the ARDUINO.

Day 7:

With Oliver we have continued making the app for the box, we have had some problems but we have solved them. There is less left to finish.

Day 8:

From what we learned in the previous class, today we have started using 4-legged LEDs and have them turned on and off with the help of a switch.

Day 9:

Raul has not come and we have not been able to make much progress with the application, we have taken the opportunity to update the website.

Day 10-11:

We were in Dublin for an esxursión.

Day 12:

We did a math class with Oliver.

Day 13:

We've been working on the application, and we've just finished drawing the box. We worked a bit with arduino using Bluetooth. The last half hour, Ilenia has been angry and has built an imaginary wall, has indications of Donald Trump.

Day 14:

We have started connecting the Bluetooth module to the board. As it did not work for us the teachers have explained how to do it.

Day 15:

We have continued with the Bluetooth connection, we have managed to turn on the led but not turn it off. Teachers think it may be plaque problem.

Day 16:

We have started to make the application from scratch. And we have made good progress to start again.

Day 17:

The teachers have come to talk to us because we are far behind, we have told them that there are things we do not understand and have not explained, so Oliver explained to us again what they wanted and how they wanted it.

Day 18:

We have done a PDF explaining the application and then, Oliver has told us some things to implement.

Day 19:

We were improving App Inventor.

Day 20-25:

We have been doing a synthesis credit, in which we have improved the programming and mongtaje of the Arduino plate and the App Inventor. The last day we went to present a Power Point and a project to the children of sixth, to promote the institute and made Ilenia bullying for its "rare" wallpaper.

Day 26:

We have advanced the website and tried to solve a problem that we have with the application of the box.

Day 27:

We have continued with the problem of the box, but we have been told that what we are trying to implement is not necessary and we have left it.

Day 28:

We have updated the website, including more videos. And we have also continued and improved the application.

Day 29:

After Easter, we did some tests with the program '' LaTex ''. LaTex is a writing program that works by codes. We did some problems that we had to solve.

Day 30:

On Thursday we went to the computer room to print the box and finish soldering the plate to the LEDs and inadvertently burn Ilenia's hand. We were unable to print the box due to a technical problem in the connection of a cable.

Day 31:

We implemented new connection and messaging options in the application and then refreshed the web again.

Dia 32:

Hem imprès la caixa amb la impressora 3D escala 1: 4 i hem actualitzat el nostre canal YouTube.

Day 33:

We have gone to a computer room where we have soldered and advanced the website and application.

Day 34:

We continue to update the website and try to progress in the application.

Day 35:

We have gone back to the computer room and tried to print the actual size box and we have also advanced the application a bit because Raúl has forgotten to bring the plate.

Day 36:

We finished the application but on proving it the LEDs did not go out but they did turn on. We tried to fix it.

Day 37:

We retooled the box in the computer room and as the welders did not work very well we could not continue soldering the board.

Day 38:

We filled out a form for "Stem by me" and continued to weld the plate since the welders were better.

Day 39:

We were told that the fords were wrong and we did them again. We also continued welding the plate and checking what we had left.

Day 40:

We filled out the forms again, but we could not make the application because Gerard has it and it was not.

Day 45:

We started to make the memory of the project while the arreglàvem box.

Day 46:

Gerard and Raul did not come and we continue the memory (electrical diagrams and calculations, description of the components and "screenshots" of the Arduino and inventor of the app).
